OH: Prison medical emergencies on decline

From the article: “A decline in medical emergencies at Ohio’s prisons and an emphasis on treating patients on-site has the man who oversees the system optimistic about cost-savings.  “We’re going in the right direction,” said Stuart Hudson, Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction’s chief of correctional health care. It cost nearly $188.3 million to fund prisoner health care in fiscal year 2012, down from a $222.8-million peak in fiscal year 2010.”
