Judge delays ruling on Alabama’s policy of keeping HIV-positive inmates isolated in prison

From the article: “Currently, Alabama and South Carolina are the only states that segregate HIV-positive prisoners. The lawsuit accused the state of violating the Americans with Disabilities Act.”  The judge originally stated that he would have an opinion prior to Thanksgiving, but said that more time was needed.  Read more here.
