ACLU opposing Ala requirement for prison visits

From the article: “The American Civil Liberties Union is criticizing a new policy that requires Alabama prison visitors to have their fingerprints scanned.”

The article quotes ACLU’s National Prison Project staff as saying that this is the only state in the nation to take such a step.  However, I feel reasonably certain that I just read material that Ohio is moving to that as well, under a new vendor that is handling both money orders and visitor lists.
